Go meet. Go greet. Go get some Epinions dolls that come alive in the middle of the night.

Thank you. :)

Yup yup...I definitely adore writing. I'm actually majoring in Mass Media - which is luckily a degree that holds many options (and I'm fickle, so that's great): Newspaper stuff, radio stuff, TV broadcasting, etc. Right now I just go to a community college, but I can't wait to actually get to a university and get started in that stuff. :) It'll be awesome.

Thanks for commenting, it was nice meeting you.

Just kidding but I should have already written a review. I'm not sure what you are majoring in but your love of writing is obvious. You are a natural so I hope some kind of writing is in your future. Great review of the meet and greet. And it is an awesome mall, especially for someone from the desert town of Odessa.

Hey,
It was great meeting you as well! I'd definitely be up for another Epinions-people meet-up.

I have heard of HM. Is it kinda like Risen magazine? I've heard of Luti-Kriss's name, but I dunno if I'd recognize the music. I'll have to look into Nailed Promise & Travail, I'm always looking for new bands to check out.

Abraham,

It was great meeting you as well! I must have missed all the arguments, but they sound entertaining :)

Yeah, meeting everyone kinda made me look at Epinions in a different way. Hopefully I'll make it to more M&Gs in the future.

See ya around!

'A lot of times, when people get to know me, they tell me that they just assumed I was always bored or stuck-up. :)"

Hey Sheila,

It was great to meet you and I definitely don't think you were bored or stuck up. I enjoyed chatting with you over arguments between Bryan and Brian... :) It was cool hanging out with most of the Epinions Music group and hearing about a category I don't get into very much. I'm glad you showed up and were able to connect faces with profile pages, it helps personalize a sometimes rather dry internet experience.

All the best and I'll see you around the site,
Abraham

Hey Mike,

I know what you mean about nothing cool coming to your area. We hardly get any cool concerts around here *sigh*.

You definitely shouldn't pass up an Epinions M&G if it comes in your area...or - why not - even if it doesn't come in your area. :)

Like virtually everything that sounds cool, nothing ever comes by my area (or when they do, I can't make it). blindside concerts. Project 86 concerts. And now M&Gs. It'd be kinda fun to go...my age would kinda shock people. I think I'm the youngest Epinionator (which is why I'm shooting to this for, say, 10-15 years and get 5,000 reviews...end fantasy).
Oh well, nice review...wait. Does anyone else see the irony in writing a review about an Epinions party?!?!

Yup, he's cool!

Aw, hopefully they'll come to your area soon. The M&Gs are fun, so make sure to catch the next one, or the next one, or the one after that. :)

?!?!?

Hahah. There actually was a great selection of food - but ya see, stupid little me ate BEFORE the M&G and wasn't very hungry. :(

It was fun! I'm looking forward to more M&Gs...

you said...
"After picking up a few carrot sticks, a cookie and a Coke, . . ."

..?!?

So much for rumors of nice food spreads laid out at these 'meet-n-greets' . . .maybe all the coin went for that damn nano.

Sounds like a fun time was had by all. And your closing advice sounds 'most helpful' indeed.

Hey Stevo!

Ah, sucks about the conflicting schedule when the M&G came in your area. Maybe you'll get to check out the next one.

I never would've pegged you as a shy person, though.

Yeh...it's weird. Been this way since I was little. I just never know what to say to people at first. A lot of times, when people get to know me, they tell me that they just assumed I was always bored or stuck-up. :)

Thanks for commenting!

Hey Amy! I wish I would have gotten around to the other tables, I dunno why I didn't. Maybe next M&G! :)

Yeah...next time, I'll know more what the M&Gs are like and I probably won't have the deer-in-headlights expression (as much).

Thanks for dropping by!

I'm still sore about missing the DC M&G by being on vacation when I finally nagged them into bringing it here. Ah well, it happens. Maybe I'll travel out to a future one. Glad you enjoyed yours! I never would've pegged you as a shy person, though.

Sorry I missed out on meeting you. I'm Mrs. Bob_Tomato and was in the opposite corner at the books table.

I know exactly what you mean about being a little overwhelmed - I felt the same way when Andrew and I went to Chicago. But I totally agree it was worth the experience and everyone should try to get to at least one of these things.

It was nice meeting you as well! I think I accidentally pulled one of the little Epi guys' shoes off in the mall parking lot, but I could probably glue the other one back on or something.

Yeah, I don't venture into the other categories as much as I probably should, so the table with most of the music reviewers was the best for me. I recognized a lot more names on that table than I more than likely would have recognized on the others, obviously. :)

I look forward to attending future M&Gs. Thanks for commenting-

We really need to do something about the shoes falling off in the next batch of those things.

I'm glad you were able to make it and thanks for writing this. I'm sure there are many folks in your shoes who are reluctant to go because of a fear of meeting a bunch of people you don't know.

I enjoyed meeting you and if you don't know, me and bob_tomato made sure to put you right in the thick of things at the "music" table, hoping that was where you'd be most comfortable.
