Ok Ok so I have been told dont change from Windows... Linux is a dead issue well I have proven people wrong to that statement.

I recently installed Corel Linux and I love it now that it's running. At first I ran into a small misshap with the graphics card. I went to Corel's Website and they have a library of PDF files that guide you through any problem you may run into for Corel Linux. Also... Linux booted up and recognized my intel Network card no problem and no configuration. Me and my friend got our computers networked... He is running Win 98 SE and me running Corel Linux 1.2. Doesn't sound special? Well we also put out a vast search on the internet for a proxy server. We came across a program called WinProxy. After we downloaded and installed WinProxy I was able to share the internet connection from the Win 98 machine. I am so stoked. This is just my personal accout for Corel Linux. I bought it off Ebay for a whopping 10 bucks thinking 10 dollars went down the drain. I got it in the mail and I am so happy I no longer get those illegal operation pop-ups from windows. My buddy on the other hand has just a couple every week (he's still running Windows). Linux may not be Fisher-Price friendly but with the help files online and your own ambition you can turn this OS into a powerful one. Oh yeah make sure to do your homework before you install it. Check to see if your components inside your PC are compatible with linux. The only incompatible component I had was my PCI Win Modem... Doesnt really matter though I use my buddies connection through the Network. Boy I love Linux --------------- GOT LINUX?
