The day the earth stood still 2008? It was a mess of story telling and made me NOT believe. The message was a rip off of I robot, but then again you'll say this was a remake and this message was clear long ago.

The simple truth is the movie message is that aliens come down to earth and tell us that this is one of the best resources for life in the universe and we are killing it so they are gonna have to kill us so that they can take over the earth and revive it to the way it was and should be and that's that.

We have no say in this process and we had long enough to change our ways and we haven't and most likely can't. So if they really did come down to here right now they would be absolutely correct.

The movie is a little imaginative but very unbelievable. Even Keanu Reeves is a little hard to understand. But hey they giant robotic figure with the red beam shining from his helmet is pretty damn cool to see. So I might have kind of spoiled the movie, but like I said as you may all know this is a remake of an old movie and you knew the plot anyway right?

So if you're in the mood to be confused and yawn watch it soon. Otherwise don't rush out to see this anytime soon.

Oh the glowing ball was pretty cool also. Kathy Bates gives a so so performance as the Washington assistant to the mysterious president that is never seen once in this movie either.
