Pros: Alpine Quality, Numerous Features
Cons: Alpine price, Quite the distraction, no security
The Bottom Line: Alpine has been making the best recievers for several years, and this one is no exception. Forget that junky Pioneer crap, and ignore that unreliable Kenwood stuff...this is it!

This is one of the best in car mobile theater center pieces around. I've looked at them all, and Alpine puts them all to shame. Pioneer is junk, and Kenwood still needs some work. Its bright and colorful, easy to use and fun to play with. Caution - may make some of your friends jealous. And watch out for theives, cause this thing is a target sitting in your dash. I recommend buying a Blitz-safe to install it in, and tell your insurance agent you bought it. Ai-Net is the neatest car stereo networking system out there. You can network your disc changers (up to 12 changers) DVD and navigation units, Alpine car security system, VCR's and separate monitors. This thing is the greatest!!! But, the price is kinda steep. You do pay a little extra for the Alpine prestige, but I think its worth it. Don't try to install it yourself, however, its complicated. Make sure when you purchase this unit, you buy it at an Alpine Mobile Media authorized dealer. That way you know when they install it, they install it right. Don't buy it from a chain store either. Get it at your local car stereo shop. You'll get better customer service and professional installation/service. Happy listening/watching!
