Oh, I love gingerbread - in either cookie or bread/cake form. The smell is pure winter bliss.
By the way I will now crave gingerbread until I break down and bake some.....;)

Now I am going to have to go home and whip up a batch. Betty Crocker used to have these Gingerbread candles - they smelled SO awesome. The smell that fills the house when you make these is 100% Christmas!

I absolutely LOVE anything gingerbread "related". Unfortunately, in my area (all of Eastern Washington it seems) nobody bakes fresh gingerbread cookies for sale. I am still stuck with the processed and bagged kind, if I or someone else doesn't make them.
You have my mouth watering for them again...
