I placed my order on December 11, 2008, which processed immediately and my credit card was charged. I also paid for expedited shipping to make sure my item would arrive before the holidays even though Botach assured me it would arrive standard by the 22nd. On the 19th, when my order (which I paid to have arrive on the 16, still had not arrived I called and Rosie (the worst customer service rep EVER!!) said my order had been cancelled but I should re-place my order and she would call me with an update before the end of business. I naively followed her advice, which only permitted Botach to charge my card a second time. Ultimately, I cancelled my order on December 22nd after being told by the lovely Rosie that it was really my problem and her manager was to busy fielding other complaints to handle mine. Ironically, on January 3rd my card was charged AGAIN! When I called to inquire, Rosie denied ever cancelling my order and gave me a shipment confirmation. I promptly called the shipper and had the product returned to sender. Botach has confirmed receiving the product back and assured the BBB that I have been satisfactorily taken care despite the fact that they have made no effort whatsoever to credit my card.
This company is a scam operation. They lie and manipulate to get your money. It is a small (less than 30 employees) company in LA that should be put out of business for fraud and absolutely the worst customer service ever.
Whats more disturbing? Even though the reviews are clearly in...the BBB still gives them a B+ rating because Botach successfully lies to them. I wonder why the BBB would allow consumers to be treated this way?
