Thanks so much for your kind words. Now, if all women could support each other in such a way, we'd have guilt all but wiped out!
Happy Holidays :) Suzanne

You Go Girl! I had my family first too, and I am now opening doors for my career path! You are doing the right thing! I am only 33, but it is never too late :) Most career moms are probably jealous!! Take care!

Sunni,
You said I still think of those days and smile, and to me, if you can look back with a happy, warm feeling then our Mothers must have done something very right :-)
And I think you hit the nail right on the head. Not every mother is suited for working outside the home, and not every mother is suited for staying inside with the kids every day. We should all support each other's decision, because as you said, ultimately a happy mother makes for a happy family! :)
Thanks for dropping by with your comment. Happy Holidays! Suz

Kathy,
I think if I'd had a childcare situation like yours, I wouldn't have been so heart sick over leaving Ty. Actually, I'm not one of those militant people who think that all women should stay home with their children. It is a personal choice, one each family must make themselves. I'm just so thankful that we are finally able to do it. The sacrifices are so worth it.
Thanks for leaving a comment and hope you have a merry, merry christmas!

The recipe sounds good, indeed...'Very Helpful'.
But the most important thing you said was...
"But I've never been happier and the benefits are great. Maybe this
is exactly what God had in mind for me, after all."
Very nicely said.

............a yummy cake.
I stayed home for about 14 years after the birth of my third. That was such a special time and I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to do that.
I think when possible there is no one like Mom to be with children. I'm happy that you've been able to do that.
Seems funny coming from a daycare provider, doesn't it? Well, I do think that when possible then staying home is the best choice, short of that I try to provide a home environment to my four little charges. Heck, yesterday our field trip was to the Department of Motor Vehicles, so I could renew my license. LOL
I hope that you have a very Happy Holiday season.....Make it a great day........kath
