We replaced an ancient GE with a new one simply because it was reasonably priced and fit out cabinet with no alterations. I wasn't prepared to be impressed by an appliance having been disappointed with purchases in the past. I have to tell you, though, that this oven is really great. My husband and I still marvel over how fast it preheats and we have had it for over a year. The digital control panel was easy to use right out of the box. The self-cleaning cycle works very well. It is loaded with a variety of features that I didn't know I needed until I had them. I get a thrill out of using this oven. Each time I use it I know I made a smart buy.
