Let me echo Patti. I could relate to the girl as an artist and a woman, though not as a redhead! I was surprised to discover she's a redhead, not a lot of physical description, and that one Paul scene with a friend was jarring because I thought the story was from her perspective, but I really liked it.

I really enjoyed the story and could identify a little with the "what ifs" in life - the desire for the choices not taken and trying to recapture what we might have missed. At the same time there's the knowledge of what is and the way it will be ... knowing the "fantasy" isn't real.
It's terrific - I liked it a lot.
