Pros: The movie is only 1 hour 36 minutes long.
Cons: Weak storyline and acting.
The Bottom Line: I am a Harry Connick Jr fan and went to see him. He doesn't have his normal chemistry in this movie. I was disappointed.

Lucy Hill (Renee Zellweger) is a company executive living in Miami who is sent to a small town up north to oversee the downsizing of a manufacturing plant held by her company. The movie gets straight into her move to the small cold northern town and plays on her being a big city girl used to a warmer climate. She wears her heels, a suit and a small jacket everywhere when she first moves there. She voices her opinions flamboyantly to the small-town folks who live by a slower pace and different set of rules from herself.
Lucy immediately goes into the plant and tries to change things around as directed by the folks at corporate in Miami. She is stopped at every turn by the workers who are not ready for the change. The only person at the plant who is willing to give Lucy the benefit of the doubt and her friendship is the secretary provided to her. She tries on several occasions to set her up with Ted (Harry Connick Jr.) who is over the local union.
Through the course of the movie Lucy and Ted become closer as does Lucy to the townspeople. When corporate decides to completely close the plant, it's up to Lucy to come up with a plan to save the jobs of the people who have come to trust her.
This movie offers some comedy but if you've seen the previews you've basically seen all the comedic action. Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. have little to no chemistry as a couple so the romantic side of the movie never really exists. The storyline is weak as is the acting in many parts.
