Poor customer service, SLOW delivery, Horrible business

I usually do not care about shipping time with online purchases but for textbooks its important. I had a class that the textbook was not available in my campus bookstore. I looked online and couldnt find it. My professor suggested ecampus.com and luckily i found the book. I ordered it and the site says it was in stock when i purchased it. 7 days later i still dont have the book so i call their customer service. They must not employ alot of people because there were 10 people in front of me on the phone and the wait time was 17 minutes. When i got on the phone all the employee could do was tell me that it usually ships wthin 5-7 business days. I paid for the book on January 26 and they won’t even ship it out until feb 2 at the earliest! I asked why it took so long to ship a book out when the business is a business that ships books. He beat around the bush and told me some spoon fed line. I told him that the order page said the book was in stock because other books that I have looked at specifically mention that the book is out of stock and this one did. He argued with me about that fact and I couldn’t get him to calmly explain it to me, I still don’t understand why an in stock book takes 5-7 business days to make it from a shelf to a box. And then said he didnt have a magic wand to help me. I am not 2 weeks into this class and still no book. Im glad I can do my homework for this week. I will NEVER do business with this company ever again.
