The "hard to find" items are the greatest thing about the internet. Some of my CDs in my collection would never have been purchased were it not for the internet.

Clothing is out for me, too. And I haven't purchased food (not counting beer) on- line either. I might give in one day and try food but I won't do clothing on- line again unless I get another on- line gift certificate.

Online shopping rules.. (Reply to this comment)

I hate dealing with idiotic cashiers in stores. The only thing I don't buy online is clothing, uneless I can return it to a local store because I find that more of a hassle than it's worth trying to return.
Nice Review.

I really like shopping for airplane tickets online, where you can compare one site's price to another, pick your seat, and print out the e-ticket all at home. In the 'Olden days' I had to call on the phone for endless hours or go to a travel agent. Never again (I hope). -Dave

open all night (Reply to this comment)

One night my son wanted to buy something, and I told him the stores were all closed. He looked at me like I had two heads and said, "We can buy it ONLINE!" Good article, covers the ups and downs very well! I love the net for hard to find SACD and DVD audios. No place around here sells them, but most titles are available on the net.
