You know, for the moment, I might tentatively place it as the best concert I've ever been to too. I have seen snippets of the Bullet In A Bible DVD, and I listen to the CD quite regularly now. What I was trying to say in the review was not to make believe that Bullet In A Bible will do, because there's nothing quite like the real thing. Green Day are growing on me - I may start looking into their back catalogue a little more.

I did indeed check out your space, though I found it a little hard to navigate, as I'm not really familiar with that site. Either that or Papa Roach's 'Scars' pushed me away a little. Sorry! My Chemical Romance are worth checking out live too, but (gasp) are you saying you weren't fond of Jimmy Eat World?

Cheers,
Black Star 40.

Ok, you're right. They do count, and I do know they do. Perhaps I'm being a little harsh. I just feel that U2 are a very bloated, overrated rock band, and I just had to express that somehow. Maybe I should get around to writing a review on them. And, about your children - sad, but you could always raise them to Green Day. Trust me, the child idolizes the father that brings him/her up with good music!

Yours sincerely,
Black Star 40.

Ah.. I love Green Day.. so much I can't even describe. Yes, the concert was such an amazing time, the best concert I've ever been to. Have you seen their Bullet in a Bible? It's really good... a few of the songs are cut out, but the interviews are interesting and funny.

I'm so jealous of you right now though, because it was only Jimmy Eat World when they came to Indianapolis, no MCR :(

Anyway, check out my myspace profile (yeah I'm a sell out), I have a pic of my tattoo, I'm sure you can figure out the relevance...

i've read a lot of reviews, good *and* bad, of green day's recent stage show, but every single one of them, good or bad, makes me want to see it. unfortunately, having kids kinda kiboshes the road trip wishes most of the time.

but hey -- U2 counts. you know they do. i've been down that road, and it is good, it is *very* good. not that you believe me. ;)

excellent work.

unluckily I wasn't quite at the front, but didn't really make it any worse IMO. Jimmy Eat World were there (along with Taking Back Sunday) and I thought JEW were absolutely brilliant. great setlist, top performance.

And were you in the front row? Indeed it is something special, and by the way, on the 65 000 occasion - did Jimmy Eat World and My Chemical Romance happen to be there then? If so, what'd you think of them?

Cheers,

i've seen Green Day twice this year - once in front of 6,000 people, the other in front of 65,000 people - and they simply never fail to astound me as to their quality.

Oh no! I can't stress enough how good their live show was, though, and I could've gone on for a lot longer, only I thought I was being too harsh if I did. I can see where you're coming from, though, you do get tired thinking back, and being stuck in the carpark afterwards for a good half hour at least is never a good thing.

Wow, there was a lot going on, I'm glad you enjoyed the concert, I'll probably stick to listening to Green Day via CD, I wouldn't be able to wake up and go to work the next morning if I went to the concert.
