Never thought of Lawrence of Arabia as a costume drama, but there sure isn't any problem with seeing it on a "Top ten" list, either.

you didn't mention Kubrick's Barry Lyndon. I would think that would beat some of that Alec Guinness stuff, at least. Good job, though. Madness of King George is one of my favorites, as is Cy Endfield's Zulu. :>

Just thought I'd say-- I always love the lists, comprehensive and concise. They do come in handy when in brain freeze before heading to the video store (I don't use NetFlix, go figure).
