Three years ago, I bought a set of Thiel's 3.6 and these B&W DM302 for use in another room. I could have saved over $2,500.00 and just bought two sets of B&W's. Don't get me wrong. I love my Thiels and everyone should own a pair at least once in their life. Still, I needed a pair of bookshelf speakers and I auditioned the B&W's against Boston Acoustics costing three times more and there was no comparison. Even the store owner agreed that the B&W's sounded better than the B.A.'s, irrespective of price. They are really good speakers, not power hungry, loud, crisp, and in a small package. A subwoofer is a must with these, of course. I anticipate buying another pair of DM302's in the near future. We are building a house and I plan on putting a pair in our bonus room.
