Valentines day was a disaster thanks to hotwire.com, so me and my boyfriend booked a room through hotwire.com and it was a mess, we booked a room at the westin, on the "VEGAS STRIP", turns out there was another westin and the guy totally tricked me into thinking it was on the strip, when we find out where the other westin is, it was 15miles away from the strip, as we were driving over there i felt like we were driving into the boonies!!...anyways so we were really tired and upset and all we wanted to do was go to our hotel room, okay so we finally get there 20 minutes later, and it is so far away from the strip, i had called hotwire complaining about our hotel being so far away from the strip well what they didnt tell us was that as long as the hotel was 25 miles away from the golden line "vegas strip" they didnt have to do anything to help us, so already frustrated with them , we check into our room or at least tried and hotwire.com ended up not giving the money to the hotel so we were told we had to put another credit card down for the room and that the card we put down will be charged until hotwire.com gave them the money, i also came to find out that hotwire.com had charged me 125.00 dollars when the room at the hotel was really 88 dollars for that night, can you say hotwire totally ripped me off!! okay so after all this i totally blew up on hotwire for third time i finally got them to give me my money back and since everything was booked that night i ended up just hittin the slots and going home, but im telling you it was hell dealing with those people and i cant believe that they totally didnt tell me that they were allowed to book me a room 25 miles from the strip and still say that the room is on the strip, thanks hotwire for ruining my valentines!! Dont ever book with them!
