Pros:Plays MP3s, reads CDRs/CDRWs
Cons:None.
The Bottom Line: Go buy it. An excellent low-end surround sound system and stereo, suitable for an apartment.
And in searching around on the web I found some reviews here that are wrong. I bought it specifically because it does play MP3 CDs and it does see CDRs/CDRWs. It's replaced my whole stereo. It's a tuner, amplifier, surround sound, 5 disc changer, CD, DVD, and MP3 player. Works great. It comes with 5 small satellite speakers and a subwoofer. I'm sure the subwoofer is probably too underpowered for a serious audiophile, but it's perfect for an apartment dweller.
The only drawback I've noticed is that it doesn't allow "random" play when you're playing MP3s. But hey -- what do you expect for ~ $400? That's about the same price as a good MP3 player, and this does so much more.
