We're waiting for the birth of our new puppy - an Old English Sheepdog. It's so exciting to have a new member of the family and the fur-kids are always a great way for kids to learn responsibility.

Puppies do wrap themselves around your heart, don't they?
We have a puppy, too, who came to our family a few weeks after our beloved Sandy (also known as "Boo Boy") died.
Sandy was a big old Heinz 57 dog. "Gidget" is a shih-tzu princess. They are as different as night and day, but Gidget gives us a million laughs, that's for sure.
I see you're writing quite a bit now, too!

actually I said they "wake" me up..I pretend to still be asleep and my poor husband gets to take them out *snicker* :) I am getting pretty good at tuning them out now!

Trust me it doesn't get any better. I have four dogs..and they STILL wake me up at 2 a.m. to go outside! But, on the other hand they are worth it!
My latest addition to the family, my chocolate lab Jasmine had kennel cough when I got her. I think it was harder taking care of her than when my son was a newborn!

We got a Boston Terrier puppy on Oct. 1 and he's the best! I can't believe how much we love this dog! Your little Westie must be adorable! (I will look to see if you put a pic in your profile!) Westies are adorable. Congratulations again!
