First off, I know that many of you may be worried about purchasing from alienware after some of the reviews on here, as I was, but I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. To start out, I ordered a custom Alienware computer, designed by me for gaming, and, boy, did they deliver! When I ordered it, within 2 day's I got a call confirming my purchase and making sure my order was correct. The only thing was, they were out of the sound card I ordered (from an unexpected demand), so they gave me a free upgrade to an SB!x-gamer. Talk about a cool deal. So, anyway, 2 weeks later I get a knock on my door from the FedEX guy. I unpack everything, and got it all set up. On the first boot, everything went without a glitch! I fired up Quake 3 (It came preloaded) and was amazed at the speed, quality, and sound I recieved. Much better than any of my other "commercial" (compaq, HP, ect...) computers had ever been. It's been 5 months and not a single problem as of yet. I'm confident that in a couple years or so, alienware will be getting another call from me to place my next order.
