Pros: Can cancel withing first 3 days.
Cons: Down-time. Can't match TiVo's greatest features.
The Bottom Line: A nice try by ATT, but DirectTV w/TiVo still conquers all.

| mostaza's Full Review: AT&T U-verse |
If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't, right? Sorry to say, ATT, but right. U-Verse did not meet our expectations. Our connection was frequently lost, and when it is, the whole TV doesn't work. Not even the movies and shows that recorder yesterday. Shouldn't you be able to access those, even if the current signal is down? My main bone to pick is about the "record 4 TV shows at once!" I could record 2 at once with TiVo, and there were a few times I wanted to record more, so I thought this would be better. If you're not currently watching your TV it's good, but if you are it's not very easy to switch around. With TiVo, recording or not, I can hit pause, info, (down) and switch to the other tuner. Watch it for a few minutes, pause it, return to the first tuner and pick up where I left off. Awesome, especially if you are watching 2 football games. You can skip all the commercials and literally watch both games in the time it takes one to play. There is no pause and switch and pause and return with U-Verse. I do still have U-Verse internet, which still goes down frequently, but it's at an ok price for the speed. I would not recommend U-Verse TV, especially since TiVo has pretty much everything that U-Verse does now too. DirectTV forever!!!
