The Bottom Line These are all classic fun musical moments in regular movies.

Sure, sure we all know the songs from Musicals, but what about when folks breaks out into song in a regular movie? Lots of movies have very memorable songs, and I'd like to take a few minutes of your time to recount ten of the funnest songs in movies that weren't musicals. They are presented in no particular order.

Wayne's World - Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) What do you get when you put Wayne, Garth and two of their friends into one of the worst cars with one of the best songs by Queen? You get a song that you can't help but sing along to. Is this the real life Is this just fantasy caught in a landslide no escape from reality open your eyes Come on, everyone sing along look up to the skies and see, I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy, because I'm easy come easy go Now the advisors little high Now the category leads little low Now you any way the wind blows doen't really matter to me

The Big Lebowski - Just Dropped in (To See What condition my Condition was in) (Kenny Rogers) In a very surreal dream or music video we find Jeff Bridges a.k.a. The Dude, Duderino or his Dudeness floating through Bowling Valhala complete with a woman with a Viking Hat and bowling ball inspired chest armor. Very surreal, very funny. I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in. I watched myself crawlin out as I was crawlin in, I got so uptight I couldn't unwind I saw so much I broke my mind. I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

Something About Mary - I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)(The Four Tops) As the credits role, we see every member of the entire cast of this hilarous comedy perform kereoke versions of that classic Four Tops motown song. sugarpie honeybunch You know that I love you, I can't help myself I love you and nobody else The musical intermissions in this movie were also a trip.

The Cable Guy - Don't You Want Somebody to Love (Jefferson Airplane) The Cable Guy (Jim Carrey) has given our protagonist a beautiful home stereo system complete with a kereoke machine. He brings all his friends over to rock out, and Carreys version of Don't You Want Somebody to Love is probably the funniest and strangest interpretation of this classic Jefferson Airplane song I have seen.when the truth is found to be lies and all the joy within you dies don't you want somebody to love, don't you need somebody to love, wouldn't you love somebody to love. Carrey's song is complete with psychedelic lighting.

The Forty Year Old Virgin - The Age of Aquarius Steve Carrell finally loses it, and his newlywed wife rolls over to ask him how he feels. Steve stares up in bliss and starts to sing when the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars Soon the whole cast is dancing in a field doing a hilarious rendition of this classic tune. harmony and understanding, sympathy and trust abounding

Anger Management - I Feel Pretty Hmm, I don't remember this song sung quite the same way in West Side Story. Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler give this showtune an amusing treatment much to the chagrin of all the New Yorkers trying to get by their stopped car as Sandler sings I feel pretty Oh so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and bright And I pity any girl who isn't me tonight Oh yes, there is a reprise of the song at the end of the movie with the entire cast.

The Wedding Singer - Love Stinks Noone likes to be rejected, and Adam Sandler is excellent at expressing rage. After being jilted he still does his job as a wedding singer, but puts new meaning and emphasis into the classic J.Geils tune Love Stinks I cracked up as Sandler sardonically includes members of the wedding audience in his tirade You love her, but she loves him, and he loves somebody else, you just can't win and so it goes, til the day you die, this thing they call love Its gonna make you cry!.

School of Rock - Edge of Seventeen(Stevie Nicks) Sure it would be easy to go with the shows rocking finale, which was a lot of fun to see Jack Black and his young protegies rock out AC/DC style, but the best song in this movie was when Black takes uptight school principal played by Joan Cusack to a local bar to get permission to take the kids on a field trip. He puts Stevie Nicks on the jukebox after plying Cusack with a few beers. Soon Nicks is mouthing the words, then the two are outright singing ooh baby ooh said ooh, just like a white winged dove.. sings a song sounds like shes singing The look on Black's face alone is worth the song.

Austin Powers - Just the Two of Us Dr. Evil and Mini-Me get down in their own rap version of this cheesy seventies song I'd hope Scott would look up to me, run the business of the family, had an evil empire just like his dear old dad, give him my love and things he never had. We even get to hear Mini me sing a line in an unusually deep voice You and I.

Beetlejuice - Day-O (Harry Belafonte) A drab dinner party turns fun when Beetlejuice has everyone break out into song, the banana boat song! Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O'hara, Winona Ryder and guests all break out into dance and lipsych the classic Belefonte tune.come Mr. Tally mon, tally be banana Daylight come and he wanna go home Its six foot, seven foot eigh foot bunch. daylight come and he wanna go home

Well thats it, 10 funny movie songs from movies that weren't musicals. A movie doesn't have to be a Musical to be musical.
