have a great attitude on life.

I wish I liked water, but I can't stand it, except after a long bike ride or a work out. Otherwise, I just dont touch the stuff. I know that if I just drank those 8 glasses a day I'd feel sooo much better, but it's hard.

I'm also adopted and I know what it's like not to know about your background. I was lucky enough to find out about my birth mother before she passed away, but I don't know anything of my birth father's medical history.

It was nice getting to know you!

... for the mention!

Keep up the fat burning... not sure how successful my gym visits have proven so far but I'm keeping going!

I know everyone always will have "hints" to throw at you for losing weight. It becomes tiresome at times BUT after the birth of my first child and 3 years of not being able to lose 30 extra pounds I found a couple of little "balanced" things that were helpful so I thought I'd pass them along.

Regardless of what you eat

Stop eating when you are no longer hungry versus when you are full.

It may sound goofy but obviously for awhile your stomach is going to growl - imagine your tummy is simply shrinking - this is the noise it needs to make versus the sound to signal hunger.

I'm a huge Dr. Pepper freak. So I'm all about soda. I have found though that adding some fruit juice or a just fruit in the late afternoon instead of soda helped me get over that "slump" feeling at work.

Lastly I started taking the bus and stairs every chance I could. Even going down 31 flights in my former work place would work up one hella sweat lemme tell ya. Then incorporated any mundane task I could think of into exercise such as hand mopping my floors.

Again I know everybody has advise so there is mine. Hope this helps. Good luck to you. Now my situation is the opposite I have trouble keeping weight on. If it ain't one thing huh.

XOXO

In working to destress, and live a balanced lifestyle.
Its hard to say "no" to things we have an interest in, but when they start to wear us down, its time to prioritize.
I have had to do this in the last couple months, and fought it all the way, but now find my life a *little* less stressful, and can focus on healing myself instead of doing things for everyone else.
Also congrats on using Public transit more! its a win-win for all, and better for the environment!
Take care,
~Sarah
