The Bottom Line We all need a special someone beside us in life....my mind is blank about a final recommendation.
I slipped into a crack of heaven Without making a sound Sliding into his waiting arms We danced round and round. His gentle hand cupped my face Pulled me close and held me near Your life is yet to begin He whispered softly in my ear. Do not fear your unknowns They are all your tomorrows Just know within yourself I'm here to share your sorrows. I can still feel his love And from my heart I know It will always keep me safe No matter where I go. When previewing, the above was too short...not enough words so here's my oldest granddaughter's first poetry she wrote while visiting me. Hey, I had to add something...the mind is asleep at the wheel! AM I TOO OLD I'm tired and I'm old They say I can't cut the mustard But I've still got my teeth And don't have to eat custard. I can still kick up my heels And do a jig or two Just don't expect me To eat pebble stew. Now, I know this sounds silly And I'm sure you'll agree I'm not exactly the best When it comes to writing poetry. by: Kelsey S. daughter of melissasrn 12-27-01 |
