The Bottom Line Here is my long winded thank you speech.
So... I'm finally here. This is my 100th Review. I figured I'd do something in the Member Center rather than write another product review. I've been a member of Epinions since January of 2003. I wrote for a little while and then I disappeared, as some of you already know. So, there are a couple of people I wanted to thank, and since I rarely comment (I am at a loss for words most of the time) I figured now would be a good time to do so. First off, I want to thank all the people who added me and kept me on their WOT. Even though I'm not really sure how that whole WOT thing works, to me the WOT lets me know that you believe in me and trust in my writing. I want to thank all of the great writers out there in Epinions Land (there are just too many to single out) who have kept me amused, entertained, saddened and sometimes even to the point of where I had tears rolling down my face. I also wanted to thank those of you who leave strange comments on my reviews (Haggis and Oldcomixfan you really stick out here). Maybe I'm just naive, but sometimes I have to read your comments several times to actually figure them out! That's not a bad thing, you make me think and I thank you for that. I wanted to thank Shantel, who I probably should have thanked on all the product reviews she's added for me over the years. This is where I tend to write most of my reviews, probably because it is where I feel most comfortable. To those of you who regularly write and rate in the Beauty category (there are too many of you to mention here), I really enjoy your reviews and thank you for reading mine on a regular basis. I would like to thank the Online Stores community for being so kind on my first online review. I did feel a bit out of my element here, but you made it easy. In addition, a thanks goes out to those of you in Electronics for being so kind. I plan on writing a lot more reviews in this area in the near future..so look out! I just live to make shopaholic-man jealous of my toys :) I would also like to thank those of you who have me on their review Alert list and keep on reading my reviews, even if they aren't in your area of expertise or interest. I know it's hard for you (surferdude7, futurepast, cntaur5 and vchand - you mostly come to mind, probably cause you're all men) to read all of my beauty reviews! A big thanks to those of you who write in the Travel section. I don't travel, mostly because I won't fly, so I find it extremely interesting to read your reviews. Although I will probably never get the chance to see any of these places, you really know how to bring them to life. I truly appreciate this. Finally, I would like to thank Epinions for allowing me to express myself by writing all of these reviews and make a little bit of extra cash doing so (yes, I have made some money doing this). I have over 700 DVD's in my collection, so I am going to give movie reviewing a shot (once I get up the nerve - you guys can be really brutal you know), and maybe even a book review or two - that will be the true test of my writing ability. There are so many great and interesting people on this site. I sometimes spend hours a day reading your reviews. As a consumer, you have warned me of bad products, turned me on to new and interesting products and made me feel like part of a huge family. So..a big THANKS to everyone!
