hoping.... (Reply to this comment)

...that your comment notify is still working. You are harder to find than an authentic fezzed monkey in the wild (outside Handschar re-enactment groups). But if you get this, hie thee hence to a group on Facebook called The Fez Crew, where many of your old homeboys and homegirls are making arthritic love.

Poor monkey *rub rub* nevermind. She's probably obese now from all that sugar.

Yup. I kinda figured you would be. Which is why I was willing to fork over the cash. ;-)
Not really MIA so much as just busy. Believe it or not. Got another new job, which I've been at for almost a year now. Very cool. That's some sort of record for me. But I love it, weird as it is.
And I've gone wireless, and have yet to set up my computer. Which means I have to pry one of the kids' mitts off of their laptops in order to go online. Which doesn't happen that often. Sometimes I think their fingertips are glued to the keys. And I keep having to dodge IMs from what seems like the entire junior class at number one son's high school.
But anyhow, I'm missing you muchly, but do see you every so often. Playing a video game and the monkey punctuates every statement with Ook Ook! or Eek Eek.
Thinking of you. Take care.

Where ya been, sweetie? You sure are good at disappearing when you want to be. Good to see you back.
And, by the way, I am well worth it.

Do you realize just how much it costs these days to ship a pack of watermelon Bubble Yum via overnite express?
Sheesh.

Bubble Yum is okay, but I prefer a strawberry margarita.

haggis: No, she didn't buy me any goddamn gum, but she did show me hers behind the bungalows one day at nutrition. Of course, being 7 I thought she had suffered a horrible accident, and had this intense, deep, throbbing desire to comfort her.
Thanks for reading!
vic: No, I don't lose interest if I am not required to shell out copious amounts of cash. I lose interest after I have shelled out copious amounts of semen.
Thanks for reading!
jan: If you found this charming I would be happy to buy you a pack of watermelon flavored Bubble Yum brand bubblegum.
Thanks for reading!

Welcome back (Reply to this comment)

After your brilliant, irreverent essay "Handicapping the Papalchase", I was anxiously waiting for a follow-up. Finally! I thoroughly enjoyed this one too. It is true that we always have to spend a lot on the best women, but don't we lose interest immediately if they lower their demands?

Yeah, Maria! Now there was a girl for whom I could really fall...
So, did she buy you the gum?
