I hadn't had math in 3 and a half years - the last class I took was calculus as a senior in high school. Pretty crappy considering all the stuff I was tested on I'd had back in, oh, junior high and as a freshman! =( Oh well..at least I got a 570 on my verbal...

my niece took the GRE this past fall and aced the math (no kidding) but got I think 500 for English section. Of course, English is not her native language so that's pretty darn good in my book.

She's got a couple schools interested in her already, so we're keeping our fingers crossed!!
