The Bottom Line
The web only fares can save you a lot of money, and I really like the fare grid of airlines, times and $$. The customer service features were helpful.

First, I booked a long scheduled business trip through Orbitz that was leaving from Newark on the 12th. I found a great fare that was web only and grabbed it after doing some checking around. It was also on American, who I fly frequently, so I got FF miles too.
On the 12th, I was hurrying to get work done so I could make it from my office in order to get through security (I had luggage for a presentation and a laptop) and make my flight. But before I left my office, I got an email update and a cell call (I can access both from my cell) telling me that my flight had been delayed 2hrs.
This has got to be the coolest thing I have seen yet. Orbitz is really "cutting edge." And it helps, Orbitz saved me a lot of waiting around.
