Better late than never, right? Hey, I have like 138 email alerts still stitting in my in-box. So this is how I am just now getting around to joining the fabulous Puckmugger's Sports Write Off. He sed: this Second Annual Sport�€™s Challenge Write-off commemorates a few things. First (and most obvious to those with even below average reading comprehension skills) is that it has been a year since the first Sport�€™s Challenge Write off. Second, the write off commemorates my 300th review. It also marks the completion of my 20 new hockey gear reviews. I needed an excuse to review something other than hockey gear. I put myself on the spot by promising 20 new reviews and wow I got tired of hockey gear reviews. I needed a break. (and recently Fotball.. not American football, although I do also like the Raiders) 2. How often do you watch sports on television? Depends on how often the Florida Panthers, Sweden, or Landskrona play 3. What are your favorite sports to watch Hockey! 4. How many live sporting events do you typically attend annually? 10 so far this hockey season, with tickets to the next 4 Panther home games... will try to catch the Swedish team this year, and also plan to catch a few fotball games in Lanskrona when we get home. 5. What organized team sports have you ever participated in previously? Way back in high school... softball. 6. What organized individual sports have you participated in previously? Track? Back in high school again. 7. What pick-up sports have you participated in previously? Pick-up sports? Ya mean like 4-wheelin? Or pub games..? 8. What sports or outdoor activities do you currently participate in? Is this suppose to be G rated? 9. How often? Daily since the end of August... 10. Is there any sport that you wish you could participate in now? You mean like right now this minute? See 8 and 9... 11. What�€™s keeping you from doing it? We have a visitor sitting here. 12. If your fairy godmother was going to give you all the skill and a job in pro sports, what sport would you play? Pro Sport... oh I much prefer to sit back and cheer while the big buff dudes duke it out. 13. What team and position (if relevant)? heh. he said position 14. What beer would you promote as a sports celebrity? (OK, that was just to make certain Bruguru, Marty and Fuche participate) Carlsbergs Sort Guld (our nephew works for them) 15. What brand would you promote? PUMA!! 16. Do you have any sports heroes? Who are they and why are they your heros? Wellll naturally all the Swedish hockey players. I'm still ticked that the Panthers traded off Huselius awhile back. Grrr. Forsberg rawks, but he ain't on my team. I think my current non-Swedish player is Krajicek. He's grossly under-rated as a defensman. 17. If you could invent a new sport, no matter how absurd, what would it be? I'd re-invent Hockey... like before the idiotic new rules.
