Pros: Cast iron grilling surfaces

I have experienced the same as most here- the burner is totally oxidized, and falling apart, the Heat Plate and Heat Plate brackets (all are made of plain mild steel rather than heat resistant or Stainless Steel) also are in the same condition after just one season of use. WalMart who sold the grill does not carry any parts for them (even though they probably sold hundreds of thousands of the grills).
One thing that attracted us was the cast iron grilling surfaces which are still perfect, as is the majority of the rest of the grill- it will be a shame to have to throw away a $168 grill due to the inability to get replacement parts.
