| dawnella's Full Review: In-Sink-Erator 555ss Garbage Disposal |
I bought this item and have been completely satisfied with its performance. I used mine every day since I prepare many dishes from scratch and it has surpassed my expectations. It was a little difficult to install but we managed to do so in one evening. My biggest complaint about it thus far is that it is certainly loud while it is being operated. However, the loudness does not deter me from using it in the least and it is quite powerful, getting rid of large bell pepper seed cores, and cucumber peelings, orange peels, egg shells. I would think anyone that lives in an apartment would find this disposal really useful since it is great for those that can not compose their kitchen refuse easily. The In-Sink-Erator makes my kitchen clean up a snap and it is so much more practicle for me as the items I put into it would tend to cause bad odors in the garbage pail. I do find that rinsing a little baking soda into the disposal freshens it and keeps it smelling nice. It is a powerful tool to have in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this product to any busy family that needs to make kitchen clean up a quick process.
