Answer: When I was little, my parents bought me a puzzle of the United States, but the puzzle included Canada. I couldn't understand why a puzzle of the USA included either Canada or Mexico. They aren't states. I asked why they were on a map of the US if they weren't states. I was told that was just the way it was. Of course, I've come to learn we tried to take Canada in the War of 1812, and all of Mexico in the Mexican-American War. My country has its hands more than full with the land it now occupies.

Answer: I don't know any Canadians, but I did speak with John Bradley in 1994. He has a business in Gloucester, Ontario, called JOGO Novelties. For 25 years, he has been making cards for the CFL. I buy his cards annually, and spoke with him as part of a piece I was doing for Bob Swick's Football Times about CFL cards. If you're a CFL fan and a card collector, Bradley has been providing a quality collectible.
40 (9 marks). Describe your feelings toward Canada. What do you think of Canada as a nation? How do you feel you did on this quiz about Canada? Do quizzes like this really matter when it comes to rating how Americans feel about their neighbours?
Answer: The Canadians have been a loyal neighbor, even when they don't agree with American views. Canada seems like a friendly place, and perhaps I will see the sights of my neighbor to the north for myself one day. Quizzes don't matter as much as actions, and I hope nothing happens to sever ties between our countries. I hope Canadians everywhere will forgive me for any mistakes I have made in answering these questions. I think I did OK. If not, you have my permission to call me an ugly American.
41 (1 mark). Finally, the very last question...Where are you from (City/Town, State/Province, Country)?
Answer: I hail from a place that has been called the "Armpit of America" - East Chicago, Indiana (NOT Illinois), United States.
This is my effort at answering a quiz posed by the Epinionator known as firstcontact21. You will find his quiz here.
Thank you Steve.
