What's Missing is the Sequel!

Written: Nov 15 '01
Pros:Everything!
Cons:There's not a sequel
The Bottom Line: I recommend this book to teenagers because it is a good alternative to all the boring books we have to read in English class! It is wonderfully written, and suspenseful!

This is my new favorite book. Just like the reviews on the back of the book say, bid your friends and family goodbye. I could NOT put this book down. I think I finished this book in about 3 days, because it kept me on the edge of my seat, and I was devouring it!
I know it will sound weird, but after I finished, my heart was aching for more. The characters are so real, and I actually got a little choked up in some of the more sad parts.
I could never anticipate what was going to happen next. But then the few times when I had an idea about what might happen, something new was thrown out, or a very sharp turn was taken.
Without giving anything away, here is a brief overview: The main character Domonick makes friends with one of his dad's "girlfriends" (his dad is married) and loans her some money. I search of his long lost brother, he goes to his uncle and finds out the information he need to know, but didn't expect. Along one of his trips to New York, he met a girl and let's just say that after they started talking they both got into an adventure that was way over both their heads. If I had to catagorize this book, I would say it is a romantic drama. But I think you should find out on your own, because this is one of the best written books I have read in a long time.
