I Love The Princess Bride in a weird geeky way even!

One of my all time favorites. I've seen it an embarrassing number of times.

My Best Friends Wedding is another favorite. Great list all together.

Robin Hood is the best! After I wrote this list I felt an urgent need to watch it again, ASAP. I've probably seen it 25 times already :).

I watched it for the first time in 6th grade on the last day of school. Now that I think about it, it was kind of racy for middle school!

Oooo...I sure hope you like it!!! My whole family enjoys that film. I particularly love it because it has a great father/daughter relationship and I'm very close with my dad.

But yes, generally, give me an action movie any time ;). I'm glad you agree!

Hey, I thought my films were on the less-cheesy side as romantic films go :). RENT? Not that cheesy! Robin Hood? Not that cheesy! Cruel Intentions? Cracked out, but not necessarily cheesy.

I justify enjoying Dirty Dancing so much as I think it is a great social history movie on the very thriving resort industry that is no more. These resorts used to be very big near me, on the Michigan coast. I've seen an elaborate museum exhibit about the culture of these resorts which were operated predominantly by Jewish families. Its very interesting stuff, and Dirty Dancing is actually very accurate to real life in that sense. But yeah, I'm a sucker for the dancing scenes :).

You're my kind of gal. The first paragraph spelled out exactly the type of movies I prefer and why!

But this list was wonderful. You know what? I've never seen Armaggedon - After your little blurb about it, it will be my next rental.

Thanks, I enjoyed this so much.

I'll love all those movies, too, but if anybody ever caught me watching them I would die of a heart attack from embarrassment. Especially Dirty Dancing, since I'm prone to dorky behaviors like singing along to "She's Like the Wind" and dancing (with appalling rhythm) the dance Jennifer Grey does over the tree/bridge thing.

Number one is my all time favorite and 9 is a pretty good, too. Number nine makes me cry, too, and I've seen in about 100 times.

Nice Job!
