Pros: The ship, "Artemis" was beautiful. The crew very helpful.
Cons: Long bus rides, rushed through sites, trips advertised for 55 plus - mostly plus...
The Bottom Line: Do not use this company. They do not offer what they advertise. It is impossible to reason with the company when you call them to complain. They are very condescending.

Never use this company! I called them because of an article in the NYTs about travel companies offering lower priced trips to attract clients in this poor economy. OATS was one of the companies mentioned. Upon calling them, of course the trip I was interested in did not offer any reduced pricing. Thinking about this later, it was definitely bait and switch. I booked the trip anyway and decided to go all out and get my own cabin on the top level with a balcony (very expensive). Needless to say I was very excited about sitting out on that balcony reading in an exotic port as the sun sets. I was assigned the last cabin on the starboard side. My balcony was directly over the 2 exhaust pipes for the boat. I could "never" (not once) open my balcony or porthole because the exhaust was brutal - especially when the boat was docked due to the generator always running. Upon getting home, I called OATS and they said no one has ever complained and it must have been pollution. Perhaps in Greece but in Albania, Montenegro, Croatia? Ha! The brochure also said mini-buses. I never, and I mean never, ever would have gone on a trip that had huge buses and stopped at those huge bus stops with 50 other tour buses. Well, guess what? We had huge buses and stopped at those awful bus stops. They are very a tricky and slippery bunch. When I told them we were piled on this huge bus to take a 20 minute bus ride past historical sites in Greece, the representative asked if we saw all the sites the brochure said we would. The answer is yes but only because the sites listed were all within one block! When I told them the about the huge buses not the mini buses advertised the representative asked me if it was air conditioned. The brochure said "air-conditioned mini-buses". These people are obviously trained to manipulate the client's complaints and seem to have a lot of experience coming up with these pat answers. Surely due to all the complaints they have received. I would say this company should be investigated by the Attorney General.
