Dog will not play with it by herself

Pros: Novelty ball thrower.

Cons: My dog will not use it on her own.Price.

I believe the 4 reviews posted are all from the seller of this machine.  They all promote the websites selling it and none of the posters has ever posted any other review, much less ever even visited epinions since.
The unit is very overpriced and my well trained dog who loves to fetch and retrieve will NOT play with the machine by herself (which is the biggest selling point).  I might as well be chucking the balls myself, save for the novelty factor.
With exhorbitant shipping costs from their website the unit cost around $185!
