Tasha (Review Your Ex-Lovers W/O)

The Bottom Line ...

Tasha was the first make-out. Unfortunately, that detail is only accompanied by one entertaining, albeit selfish, story.

Megan, who I'd returned to Cleveland in July for, had rejected me (though this did not end the saga, which extended to two years). The next day, my friend Jake and I had nothing to do. Thus, we went to Tasha's house. Tasha was Megan's best friend. There was the typical flirtation; we beat her with pillows and broke into her room to open her underwear drawer (shush, it was the summer before ninth grade). Attempting to retrieve her bra, Tasha ended up on top of me on the living room couch. Jake, left with nothing to do, ensconced himself into the contiguous La-Z boy. Within ten minutes, Tasha and I were making out. In her living room. Right in front of Jake. My hand up her shirt. For an hour and a half.

I'm a bad person.

Jake, being a good person, did not leave the room, though as he professed later, "The idea passed through my mind about 10,000 times." I personally would have executed it. Anticipating her father's imminent arrival, Jake and I left, myself departing Tasha with a sloppy French kiss, and that was that.

Tasha's merits were that she was a successful osculator. She was fun, vivacious, voluptuous (the second most I've ever dated), and shorter than me (I'm 5' 6-1/2"). One month later, I returned to Cleveland, and indulged in several hours of more osculating. It was one of the more enjoyable vacations of my life. Better yet, I actually liked the girl, and she liked me too (dumped her boyfriend before I traveled up there).

But it all ended there. Despite my many digital attempts to rekindle the fire, Tasha was obstinate. She simply wasn't attracted to me anymore. I've seen her several times since then, including Summer-'05, and probably will again, but presently it's merely a pleasant and placid friendship.

Tasha was frank, sporadically unreasonable, and could eviscerate all a man's insecurities through fawning and licentiousness. She also remained a faithful and comfortable friend post-relationship, which is rare. Highly recommended.
