Memolink is Rapidly Disappearing From the Radar Screen
by colleenmf | Nov 17 '01
Pros: Points are easy to earn.
Cons: Points aren’t good for much if it takes 16 months to receive a prize.

I was suspicious... (Reply to this comment)
by ladymadonnah
Suddenly in my email I have been sent these RE:your memolink membership with messages like click here to activate- intimating I had applied for it but never did. since I hadnt applied, they apparrently got my email address through some other means { phishing? anyone?} and do instead of clicking to activate, I clicked on the 'unsubscribe ' ... which said within 48 hours I should be removed from their system...HUH~ Now I get 2-3 a day tellng me it is my lasts chance to subscribe and yet they keep sending the nagging spam...
That was enough for me to not want to have anything to do with them. I dont know what they were in 2001 but see there were already negative reviews even back then, so I assume now that it is 2007 it has only gotten worse if they are spamming for applicants and trying to mislead people into membership by coming off like you already had applied...
MEMOLINK STOP SPAMMING!!! IT DOESNT ENDEAR YOU~

Memolink is not worth your time (Reply to this comment)

Memolink is easy to navigate and gaining points is really quite simple. But the problem arises when you decide to cash in your points for prizes. Please be aware that you will wait up to a year to receive a gift certificate. This has happened to me three times. This last time I ordered a gift certificate in August of 2003 and am still waiting. I have been told that I may see it by the end of 2004. But, Memolink has given me one perk while I wait for my certificate and that is a trial membership on Memolink gold a new site that they are still testing. Please think about how much time you are willing to spend on a sight that never seems to pay up in a timely manner. I kept going back and hoped it would get better, but I have to say that I have finally learned my lesson and am finally moving on.

Memolink is Becoming a Disappointment (Reply to this comment)
by bdempseyjr
Timeframes have gotten beyond ridiculous for Memolink to fulfill prize rewards - I've now been told that after 4 months of waiting for my reward, I'm "on the list" to receive the first of two gift cards (no mention was made of when the second, already late gift card would be delivered). How hard can it be to go to your local Wal_mart and/or Target and buy a gift card? If you haven't started with Memolink, I would suggest not to waste your time.

I am glad to hear that seems to be getting better but it just doesn't seem fair to make those who redeemed earliest wait while others who redeemed later receive their GC.

They have worked well for me (Reply to this comment)

They, after lacking the last 6 months, are improving and have sent me the 3 prizes owed to me. THe last 2 were sent within a month of ordering.

I'm still very happy with it, and have earned over $300 in gift certificates :)

Sure sounds like these guys did everything humanly possible to earn the one-star rating that you so justly handed to them. Thanks for the heads-up!!

Very strange!! but thank you very much. Hope you enjoy the program. I've been paid 3 times over the past year. Not bad.

But I put you down as a referral. Currently netflip is offering 30 cents to join memolink, so I figured why not?

Re: I couldn't agree with you more!! (Reply to this comment)

Please do, as I write this Memolink still has a 91% approval rating but I have noticed that the number of Epinions has decreased from 292 to 289. We need to get the current information out and to the top of the reviews.

This site continues to aggravate and frustrate me. I intend to make a review of Memolink one of my next Epinions. Thanks for a great review.

Yes, I understand Memolink brags that they have an over 90% approval rating at Epinions. I think it is time to change that.

I have reviewed Memolink before their problems started and I think I will update my review.
