Pros: Excellent ergonomics of the stand. No dead pixels on my unit. Crystal-sharp picture
Cons: Wide gamut (i.e. oversaturated REDs and GREENs), really bad counterintuitive OSD.

Notice that 'w' in the monitor's name? It doesn't stand for "wide screen". It stands for "wide gamut" - the new buzz color technology which promises richer colors IF (and this is still a big IF) your operating system or application supports these richer colors. If they don't, you'll have oversaturated read and green colors to a degree that might simply hurt your retina or drive you insane.
The fact is that as of 2009-May, only Windows 7 is apparently going to support wide gamut monitors. Windows XP and Vista don't, and here's a simple test to tell if you're going to hate how oversaturated colors look: start up Excel, select a bunch of cells, and set their background color to RED. If you love the burn, you'll love this monitor. Do keep in mind that if you work with desktop/office applications most of the time, you'll probably be annoyed.
Finally, do a web search for "correct wide gamut Windows". You'll find many forums where frustrated users have been searching for a solution to the wide gamut problem. There isn't one so far.
I have returned this monitor in exchange for an HP LP2465.
