I must say, I LOVE that I recognized people right away from seeing their pictures online for so long. I had a very nice time and thorougly enjoyed the food, the company, and the unlimited drinks (although mine was strictly diet coke)! I am grateful to POPSROCKS's wife for she spent almost all her time talking to me since I felt shy didn't want to intrude on the groups who all seemed to know eachother. I had written in an earlier post on the message boards that I was anxious to meet MaryTara and I did! Her daughter is DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Soon, I expect, we'll be reading eps from her too! LOL!! And thanks to Staceys1 for being nice to me and for Popsrocks for embracing me. Excellent food, stimulating conversation, and A MILLION little epi dolls. As you can see, I changed my profile picture from ME to those adorable little guys. My kids loved them and they set them up accordingly to watch tv with them. Do you think I took too many??? The ESPN Zone was a nice gathering place. I loved coming into NY for the day.... took the train and the subway and felt quite comfortable and relaxed. I even got there early and walked over to the Sephora store. Unbeknownst to me, I ended up with a complete makeup job courtesy of a counter girl so I was actually gussied up upon entering the Meet and Greet. Not that anyone noticed me! I was TOTALLY shy. Yup. I probably should have had a glass of wine instead of drinking THIS glass of WHINE. Oh, and thanks pveditor, for seeking me out. YOu play awesome guitar! Lastly, I am proud of myself for going alone. And I even got in some pictures....YIKES!  |
