It’s my 300th review and it’s been a long time coming. Five years and three months to be precise. I’d like to celebrate by giving and receiving some tips and savings suggestions I have collected over the years with epinions and with the industries in which I have worked. I know this write-off will bring us all a wealth of information that will be very handy. I am really looking forward to reading the responses. Join in and use your links, maybe we can all learn something.
I have always worked in the service industry and would like to share three tips with you that I have learned from just working within them. So your first task will be to give three industry or work-related tips.
Pest Control ( 8 years): If you have critters in the attic such as opossums, squirrels, raccoons, before you call a pest control company try this: Take a lighted lamp and a radio turned on low up to your attic and leave them there for a few days. More often than not, this will scare them away. Having them trapped can be really expensive.
Air Conditioning/Heat (3 years): Buy a service contract from a good local company which includes your A/C and heat being serviced in the spring and fall. It prolongs the life of your system and usually offers a discount on parts. Costs around $100 to $150 per year including filters.
Purchasing an automobile (7 years): If you can, get your bank to finance. Name your price (within reason) to 10 to 15 different dealers . More often than not, one will agree to your price. Try to speak to the sales manager if possible and above all, be patient.

Movies, I have not written one, yet.
3. What is the worst product you have reviewed?
Definitely, the Hound Dog Garden Cultivator. I say this because this thing fell apart within the first twenty minutes of use. A total waste of money.
4. What is the best of the best?
It has to be my Sally Hansen Just Feet Spa Nightly Foot Repair because it really does the best job on conditioning and making your feet pretty. There is no other that even compares.
5. Which was the best value for the money?
My Blue Ridge Goose Down Comforter. Well, I did get it on sale for under $50 but I love it. It was money well spent!
6. Which product surprised you most, whether it be good or bad?
It has to be my Swiffer Sweep Vac. I thought it was a bit gimmicky but bought it anyway. It has made my life so much easier.
7. What is your most successful review, when did you write it and how many hits did it receive?
I wrote this in May of 2,000 so it has had nearly six years on the site. Not one of my better reviews, Brinkmann All-In-One Grill/Smoker has still received 9,074 hits, probably miniscule next to some..
