Horrible service - bad company policies.

I signed up for the ediets meal plan. Big mistake. I should have read the reviews first but I didn't so I'm partly to blame for what happened next. So 24 hours ago I signed up for the meal delivery plan...sort of like Nutrisystem but they say its "freshly delivered". So I sign up and pick Saturday as my delivery day. Then I realize that its not for this Saturday 6 days away but next Saturday 13 days away. I didn't want to wait that long and tried to call them immediately. Sorry...customer service wasn't open. So I called this morning. But before I called I did a little research and was scared of all the horrible reviews I read about the delivery of the product and the shoddy customer service. So I called. I spoke to someone who was very pleasant and said no problem and cancelled my account but first offered me a 10% discount to stay with them. I declined and then he told me that the first week is non-refundable. I was floored. I argued that I didn't even have the product and he told me that the "Chefs" had already purchased the ingredients for my meals. I disputed that since my meal delivery is 13 days away. He backed off that claim and I requested a supervisor. Jackie came on and gave me the same line that I agreed to the "terms and conditions" and I told her how great for them that those terms and conditions are not printed in bold letters on the first page but hidden in the fine print. So I told her I would send back the food if she mailed it and dispute it with my credit card company. She told me that FDA requlations forbid them accepting food to which I told her I didn't care and would be returning it anyway....so my long story is over. Their customer service is non-existant and I would warn anyone who is thinking about buying this to think again.
