The Bottom Line PAID TOP DOLLAR. RECEIVED A LEMON. Buyers Beware.
I have had the worst experience with Comp USA. I wanted to share my experience because I feel that Comp USA has scammed me out of $2500.
I bought a computer 2 years ago, and it is a lemon. This computer breaks constantly. Every other month, my computer just will not turn on. I have sent this computer to the repair shop about 12 times for the same reason in the past 24 months. Comp USA has replaced almost every part in the computer at least once.
I have demanded a replacement computer. Comp USA will not honor their 3 year guarantee. They will not replace the computer. One of their employees admitted, “… some computers just never work.” Yet, they keep replacing various parts in the computer which prolongs its life for another 1 day – 1 month.
I have called Comp USA. I have gone to the managers in the store where I bought the computer several times. I threatened to call the President of Comp USA and report their scandalous customer service. I have threatened to report them to the BBB. The tech manager in my store told me, "The president would not care about my complaint. He would just pass me on to another manager like himself."
I still have a computer that breaks every month. All I have ever asked for was a working computer. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR!
I just think about all of the WEEKS I have spent without a working computer because Comp USA will not honor their guarantee. Every time the computer has to get fixed, Comp takes 3-6 weeks to repair it.
I will never shop at Comp Again. I will have to pursue this struggle to the highest extent of the law. I hope that anyone that ever purchases from Comp reads my story.
