The Bottom Line Whoo hoo! Procrastination!
So I've been putzing around online, but now that I'm done with this I have to get to work, so all of you enjoy reading whilst I get back to my over 100-slides power point project... Retail Sales Associate: Yeah, that’s the fancy term for “I work at Dick’s Sporting Goods.” The tip is this; please try not to be rude to us associates and cashiers. Honestly, we only have so much power and we’re just trying to make a decent living. Being rude is not going to help – stop acting like you’re 5 and the world revolves around you and that pair of socks you bought. If you’re nice, a lot of times we really appreciate it, it makes life that much better and we’ll work harder for you. Oh, and unless it’s a pair of shoes, no, we do not have it in the back. College Student: I know many of you have been there, done that, but for the very few of you who might not have been, don’t be afraid. College is awesome and seriously, it’s not always about partying and drinking, okay? If you get the right classes and good teachers, boy are you in the money. Be sure to go to a place you like too – not because all your friends are going there. College should be for you – make the most out of it. Freelance Writer: When it comes to simply doing this, in the words of Commander Taggart, “Never give up, never surrender!” And to the nitty-gritty we go! 1. Which category/categories do you write most reviews for? Movies (yeah, some might say I have issues) and then second would be music, though mostly dealing with soundtracks… 2. Which category/categories do you write the least reviews for? Heh, everything but movies, music, electronics, books, and office supplies. I think that’s it...well I did do reviews for some climbing shoes and hiking books. So everything else. Haha. 3. What is the worst product you have reviewed? I have yet to give anything one star (kind of thankful actually, I would hate to deal with something worthless), but I think I’m going to go with my Final Fantasy X-2 review. I’m sorry guys; even with the 100% ending I was just not satisfied with that game, at all. I think it’s the biggest letdown in Final Fantasy history and will never take back my two stars. 4. What is the best of the best? Agh…what a hard question…I think I’m going to go with The Samurai Champloo Series. I really do love that series and it’s been the most fun so far – it’s one of those things I’m know I’m going to go back to again and again. 5. Which was the best value for the money? Aw crap another hard question. I have to say all three Lord of the Rings Soundtracks because when I do writing, there are a lot of songs that get me going, and for the longest time these three were wearing out batteries over and over in my CD player. I still love them, and for each one I made a specific point to go out and buy myself before my little sister ever had a chance to get to them – and I’m really picky about what I spend my money on. Really picky. 6. Which product surprised you most, whether it be good or bad? (geez, I’m scrolling through all my reviews after every question, haha) Though a part of me wants to try and use a review not related to animation, I can’t escape it. Hellsing was a pretty big letdown. I mean, I’d heard all this hype about how awesome it was, and despite the stars I might have given some of the volumes, as a whole the series kinda bummed me out in disappointment. Sure, Alucard was the best vampire I’ve ever seen, but everything around him was just not up to the same level. Oh well. They’re redoing it you know… 7. What is your most successful review, when did you write it and how many hits did it receive? Back in October, 2003 I randomly decided to do a review on Evanescence’s first CD, Origin. I honestly had no idea how psychotically popular it would get, at least when compared with all my other reviews. It’s got 25,544 hits and that still kind of boggles my mind because there are 14 other reviews on it…I wonder if they have that many. NT Join In!  |
