jbrd's B-Day W/O

The Bottom Line Meh, so it's a super-late entry. Does anyone really care?

So after rating drdevience’s entry, I decided I wanted to do this too, even if it would be many months later from the original, so I bookmarked it and waited for when I would have enough free time. Tonight is that time. Enjoy.

When is your Birthday:

October 2

Would you change your birthday to a different month/date:

No way man. October is the best month ever. I enjoy it being where it is.

How old will you be:

Oi, forget that “secret of hidden age” crap. I’ll tell it like it is even when I’m 60. Anyways, the next time my favorite month rolls around, I’ll be 23. And I’ll feel 22 because that’s how it always seems to work…

Do you like the fact that you are aging:

Enough with that woman talk, man! Not all of us care what the rest of you think. Hehe.

*shrug* It happens. Actually, I think that when I’m able to say I’m 50 or whatever, I’ll feel privileged because when you think about it, how many people in the world get to say that, you know? “I’ve lived half a century” or whatever. Shouldn’t a person feel lucky to have been on this earth that long?

Where is usually your birthday bash?

Usually it’s wherever I live at the time. First 18 years of my life, at home or just in town in general. The last four have been here at college, either in the dorm or in a club in town.

Do you get drunk on your birthday:

Nope. Even though I’m 22 now, I’ve never gotten wasted on my birthday. That’s right, not even on my 21st.

Who usually comes to your birthday party:

Family and friends.

What age do you want to stop having birthdays at:

Like what, parties? Aging? I’ll keep going forever if I can.

Do you act crazy on your birthday:

Nope. I’m just me. Closest thing I ever came to being “crazy” on my birthday was giving some guy at a club a kiss. Yeah, I’m not the biggest fan of random makeout sessions. So it was a pretty weak kiss, but a rather large move on my part. Haha. Unless you count the birthday hat – see the hat in my picture? That’s the famous birthday hat. Can you believe my mom got that for me? She’s so crazy – best hat ever though.

What do you usually do on your birthday:

Same as most people – get together with friends or family (or both), eat cake, sometimes ice cream, open presents, and enjoy each other’s company.

What was your favorite birthday gift you ever got?

Sorry, but they’ve gotta have their own categories:
Most useful – a Thesaurus (shut up, it’s not lame – I asked for one and I use that thing all the time)
Most unique – Lion King on Broadway tickets from my sis
Oddest – that weird birthday hat…

What is your least favorite birthday gift you ever got:

Hmm…I can’t recall any that I’ve ever gotten that I’ve recoiled (inwardly of course) to.

Any birthday humiliations:

Not really humiliating, but embarrassing and annoying at the same time – my “sweet” 16 (supposed to be cool, right?). Same night as Homecoming, which I had a bad time at, we had to be quiet because my dad was trying to sleep (and he happens to be the lightest sleeper ever), and then a friend of mine started arguing with her boyfriend in my kitchen. Yeah, worst birthday party ever.

Where would you love to have your birthday at OR go to for your birthday:

You know, if I knew enough people and had the money, I would love to have one of those awesome masquerade balls (the kinds you see in movies and such) in a huge ballroom with all the trimmings. Oh, I would SO love that!

What would be your ultimate birthday present:

Having Hugh Jackman walk into my house, tell me he isn’t married, and that he wants to be my teddy bear for the night (we’ll see how things progress in the morning). Oh yeaaahh….

Your favorite birthday day OR moment:

There are a lot that come close, but I think I’m going to have to go with my 20th birthday when my friend Shawn orchestrated a really good party. It was sort of an all day thing (they duct-taped my door shut and wrote happy birthday all over it) and supposed to be a surprise, but it was too obvious and had my boyfriend of the time chauffer me around while they got things ready. They made a cake (didn’t buy a pre-made one – they baked and iced it themselves…in the dorm) an got a whole bunch of people to come and it was good times all around. Great birthday.

Did you enjoy this W/O:

I did. And it was something to do because I was running out of ways to procrastinate and forget about the 10-minutes presentation I have due Thursday…

Do you trust me(Jbrd):

I do indeed.

Will you trust him after this W/O:

N/A

Check out the original W/O yourself.
