Aromaleigh blows my mind. It's bad in that there are so many choices that I spend forever on their site, reading and exploring. It's great in that anything I could want or imagine exists, and there's more eyeshadows than there are days in a year.
I have been using Aromaleigh for just a few months but in that time have grown to be a loyal customer. I can't say like a lot of reviewers on here that I'm a customer of 5, 6 or more years. But I can say that my experience has been wonderful with this company and that it is one of my favorite places to shop (if they sold purses, I'd be set- that's my other passion!).
I've placed an order roughly every ten days, because Aromaleigh's weekly sales are so tempting. Along with free sample shipping and the 2.99 first class shipping option, I can place frequent orders and have them shipped for practically nothing. Plus you get 3 free samples, so it's a great deal. I always like surprises.
The website is your typical online site. It's nice and easy to use. You can tell that it is a professional site from the layout and functionality like online reviews, tell a friend, wishlists and that kind of thing. The product photos are excellent, and the color descriptions are very good. THey sell samples so you can try whatever you're interested in before you buy, to make sure that it suits your fancy. This is ideal, because you get quite a lot out of each sample, even if it appears on the small side, there is easily 2 week's worth of use in each eyeshadow sample- more if the color is very vivid and bright. Sampling is so conducive to online shopping. And if you don't like your sample colors, mineral makeup is awesome that way- you can mix color together to come up with a shade that you like better. Mineral makeup never goes to waste because it is a creative process to use it and enjoy it.
Shipping is extremely fast. The site mentions a processing time of up to 5 days, but every single one of my orders has been shipped within the next day after I placed it. And I have received even first class mail packages within 3 days which I guess is on the fast end, so I am lucky at that.
Orders have all been accurate, personally signed with a thank you, free samples included and everything nicely wrapped in tissue. Once I got a full size instead of the sample size I ordered and when I wrote to Aromaleigh to tell them, they suggested I keep the full size and did not need me to return it, nor did they charge me the difference. That's great customer service. I got a full size for the price of a sample! Yay!
There is always something new coming out at Aromaleigh. New colors, new sales, new contests and other fun stuff. The forum is a pleasant, enjoyable community of women. I love visiting there to see what they are chatting about- I've learned about some other great online sites to try, as well as seen some cool makeup looks that the women there post. I wish I had time to spend more time and post more, but I don't. I'm just too busy. I enjoy reading it nevertheless.
The eyeshadows are my favorite, they are amazing in color, dimension, finish, wear and lasting power. They are also all very unique and there is definitely something for everyone, no matter what your age or style.
I hope to be a customer for a very long time!
