I have registered 4 out of 5 of my domains at Dotster, and I have never had any problems with them.

I "discovered" their site about 2 years ago when I was looking for a low priced registrar. At the time, a lot of places charged between $30-45/yr to register a domain. Because Dotster was only $15 a year, I was a bit hesitant at first, but decided to use their services regardless.

Within 2 days of registering my domain, and finding a webhost for space, my website was up and running!

One thing that I really appreciate about Dotster is the fact that they offer a DNS service. I recently decided to host my own .com through my DSL account, and Dotster's DNS service allows me to do that (rather than pay additional monthly fees for a webhost). A lot of registrars DO NOT offer this service, so if this is something you are looking for, I would suggest you use Dotster. There is, however, a $10 additional fee.

The customer support team at Dotster is great, as well. With my last registration, I wasn't sure if my order went through. I e-mailed Dotster, and a customer support representative responded with a friendly e-mail within hours.

I've never had any problems with this service. It's definitely one that I would recommend!
