Pros:Only needed water, so no solvents that might irritate the skin were required.
Cons:None that I can think of.
The Bottom Line: Not come across Magic Eraser previously - but would now highly recommend them - they do what they say they do.
Having turned up at my shop recently to discover somebody had spray painted the windows with bright green tags, I did a search for what might be the best way of removing the paint. A couple of forums suggested that Magic Erasers might be what I needed - so I searched again and found a great price for a pack of 20 on ebay. I placed an order, they arrived a day later and with a little scepticism I began to try one on the windows.
By adding a little water to the pad and rubbing at the paint, IT WORKED! I did use a blade to carefully scrape off the thickest of the paint, but the eraser did the rest. OK so it took a bit of elbow grease, but the graffiti came off. After a rinse with ordinary glass cleaner to remove any smears left by the pad, the windows now look bright and clean – and customers can once again see what I have in my window displays.
For three windows of graffiti (about 5 square metres affected) I needed just the one pad and it took about an hour to do. The other 19 I have? Some I will keep in my shop for the odd clean-up task and the rest will go home. They will no doubt be unhesitatingly replaced when they run out.
