Beringer 2004 White Zinfandel Is A Delicious Light Fruity Wine

May 16 '06

The Bottom Line This tasty light fruity wine is highly recommended.

The Beringer Winery of St Helena California has been in continuous operation for 130 years. It was founded by two brothers, Jacob and Frederick, both immigrants from Germany. Wine experts both, they insisted their facility include stone-lined, perfect temperature regulated aging tunnels for their wines. These tunnels are still in use today.

Although most known for their red wines the Beringer Brewery also produces a delicious and delectable white zinfandel that has become one of their most popular offerings.

Beringer 2004 White Zinfandel has hints of strawberry, lemon and honeydew melon. The flavor is a delicate blend of tangerine, lemon , ripe berries and vanilla. It is a smooth light wine that matches well with grilled seafood, most any sushi, seafood salads, and fruit desserts

It also matches wonderfully with fruit or light butter or sugar cookies.
