Sex It Up Write-Off--My 200th Review

The Bottom Line Yes, even SAHMs know a little something about sex and romance.
Since my recent review theme has been the rather sad topic of depression, I think it’s only appropriate that I launch a more uplifting, spirited Write-off in celebration of my 200th review… and to put a smile back on my face. I tried to think of a subject that was so off-base of what I normally write about (Kids & Family) that I’d feel a bit challenged, too. So here’s the topic: Sex It Up. It’s probably been done before, most likely around Valentine’s Day, but I think with spring in the air, and summer just ‘round the corner, it’s a good time to try it again.
LET’S TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS AND GET TO THE NITTY-GRITTY
Have fun with the topic. Write some poetry in the Writer’s Corner. Review a romance novel or a good date movie (that doesn’t necessarily mean a good movie, if you catch my drift). Maybe there’s a sexy perfume you own that gets you, or your significant other, in the mood. Maybe there’s an album that helps you get into the groove. Write about a romantic getaway destination or even a lingerie Web site. Be creative, just keep to the broad concept of physical love. There’s no need to be over-the-top and graphic, although you can try if you want to, but subtle and coy can be just as effective at putting a blush in your readers’ cheeks.

WHAT? YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW ME FIRST?
Although I’ve been a member of Epinions for four years, I’ve lurked in the shadows for most of that time. I’ve researched big-ticket products (TV, car seat, etc.) and rated some reviews all along but only took a stab at some early product reviews. In the last year or so, I’ve become addicted and have been in full writing and rating gear. For my 100th review, I simply wrote a review from a category I had yet to tackle: movies. But I promised myself I'd do something special for the big 2-0-0.
This is a great community with wonderful people who are savvy shoppers and good writers. I look forward to writing and reading many more reviews in the years to come.
