Part of the punch-line for one the best cartoons the New Yorker ever ran.
Hard to believe that a foodie like you doesn't eat seafood - I could live on it.
And don't you love the Edna Valley? I introduced Penguinman to it about ten years ago and he went ape. There's a lovely little B&B there, the only one in the valley.
I'm babbling. We just got home from China about two hours ago after 14 hours of flying and it still isn't the time we left yet... That International Date Line is a killer.

I felt "dry" was a necessary descriptor since the nose had such a sweet-sticky quality to it. The wine was rich, but there really was no sweetness to the mouthfeel.
It was an impudent little wine!

As I recall, we both described this wine as being about as similar to a full-bodied red wine as a white wine could possibly be.
It was rich, yes. Hearty? Absolutely. Also supple, even unctuous. But dry? Mais non.
